Join the Big Apple Big Ten Team and 4,000 New Yorkers as we help to clean up green spaces citywide.
Take part in New York City's biggest spring cleaning event by joining more than 4,000 volunteers as we get our hands dirty in parks, community gardens, and public spaces throughout the city. Volunteers will remove invasive species, pick up litter, repair benches, plant, and clear out old growth from our urban green spaces. It's a great opportunity to discover a new park, meet a community gardener, and learn more about the importance of open space and recreation while making a real difference in the community.
As we have for the past several years, the NYC Illini will team up with the rest of the Big Ten schools for the Spring edition of New York Cares Day.
